Tekka could only glare down at her son, eyes full of disappointment. "Anyo, you know better than to run off! What if Pryst had not been with you and a bear...or worse...a human got a hold of you!" She nuzzled her son softly and then proceeded to pick him up by the scruff of his neck. With a light jump she took off towards camp, the young pup in her mouth.
WHOOSH.
Before she could respond, Anyo had fallen out of her mouth and the shewolf was hanging by her ankle with a rope. Her ankle stung slightly, but that was the least of her worries. She looked up and saw the branch the rope was wired around; she did not stand much of a chance with escaping alone.
Without a second thought she emitted a low, agonizing howl that was loud enough to cover the entire Grotto. She had to get some help. "Anyo," She told her son harshly, "You go back to camp. Now. And be careful where you step!"

"Ok, mommy." Anyo said, terrified. Anyo ran back as fast as he could. He started yelling,"Mommy is stuck in a trap! Go help her! Help Her!" Anyo started to cry and whimmper. He went to Koven and Ranger and said,"You got to hel[ mommy! She is hanging from a tree!" He said, barely getting words out of his mouth.
Dylan looked to Ranger and said,"I could patrol on my own. It wouldn't be mu-" He was interupted when he heard Anyo's cries. He looked to Anyo.

Tekka hung there limp, her leg beginning to tingle from the lack of proper circulation. The forest around her began to spin as the blood rushed to her head; a crawling darkness began to come over her. Is this how they kill the wolves this way? By making the blood rush to their head? She thought angrily, realizing how afraid these humans were of them. They would not even hunt with guns or arrows! A low growl came from Tekka's throat.
---
As Anyo's cries rung through the clearing, Moki looked up from the enjoyable conversation between he and Scarlett with worry etched on his face. He stood up and came up to the young pup, his heart racing. "Tell me, where is your mommy? We can help her!" Moki asked calmly, but forcefully. She saved my life before...I cannot allow harm to come to Tekka!

Rangers growl echoed through the forest, He would NOT let his sister die at the hands of a human like his brother, mother and father did. He tore himself away from Koven and Dylan and ran like hell towards his sister. "Tekka! Tekka! Stay with me!" He growled, his voice harsh from his anger. He took a huge leap as he neared her and his teeth closed around the rope encasing tekka's ankle. He shook his head as it loosened but it slipped from his grip and dug into his gums. His gums now bleeding Ranger dropped from the rope but then took another leap at it and this time successfully snapping it. Tekka dropped to the ground but fortunately onto a pile of snow and dead leaves.
Scarlett took one look at Moki and then stood and ran from the clearing and towards Tekka's cries. She entered the forest and ran towards her former alpha, "Tekka!" She cried as she saw her fall, Luckily as she neared she saw that she was lying on a small pile of snow and leaves. Scarlett neared and Ranger came into view, Blood dripping from his mouth he turned to look at her with rage and terror in his eyes. She flinched back slightly but he turned away and started to run, She wandered where he was going but instead knowing he could look after himself she looked Tekka over. The rope had cut into her ankle and embeded itself deeply into her leg. She inspected the rope but sniffing it she gasped, There was some kind of poison the humans must've soaked the rope in. They would need the juice of a alabaster plant, one that was only known to grow up in the high mountains. It looked like it was made of ice, and only grew in harsh, cold conditions, to keep tekka alive they would have to journey to where the Netico Pack resided.
Ranger ran as fast as he could, not bothering to look where he was going, All he knew was that he would follow the human scent and get his own back on them for killing his parents and his brother and then trying to kill his sister. The intense fury and terror he felt drove him on and on until he finally reached the human camp.

Koven showed gratitude Ranger for his modesty; he nodded "I do seem to..." He hung on to his last phrase. A low rumble of a growl came form the far west, a howl that could only have belonged to his love Tekka, for the grace and refinement that still stung the strident snarl.
He forced his way forward in front of a dazed Dylan, and took his place next to Tekka licking every inch of her jet black fleece. His eyes were shinning as he saw the tenderness flash within her eyes. "I'm so sorry, my love!" He cried with a insignificant hint of annoyance for himself, for not being there to look after her. He saw Anyo, cowering his head in an Ash bush. "Anyo!" He roared, stalking up in frontage of him about to yell and bawl with the pup for running off and causing all this disarray. Fortunally, Elquin strided in front of him, "Koven" Elquin snapped, her fore paws gently resting on his haunches. "This will not help!" She told him directly.
Koven halted briefly, a snarl rippling in his stomach, he calmed. Elquin was precise; he could deal with Anyo afterwards. With a harsh glare, Koven returned to Tekka, Elquin pursued and shook her head, "Scarlett has all under control." She beamed at Ranger's advanced medicine wolf. "Right, now you need to find Ranger, before...." She paused, treading vigilantly so not to over step her position. "Before something awful occurs" She breathed.
Koven stared at her, his eyes constantly flicking from her to Tekka to Anyo. He elevated his head, and trotted over to Tekka, nudging Scarlett aside. "Tekka, my love," He began lifting her head with his muscular paws. "I need to locate Ranger, but I assure you, I’ll be back as soon as I can" He said as he started to tear himself away form his devoted mate.

Tekka squealed in pain as her brother finally released her from the tree, her body landing in a soft pile of snow and leaves. Though her head was pounding and her chest and leg was in excruciating pain, she attempted to get up. Moki had followed close behind Scarlett, his eyes wide with terror. This did not look good.
"Don't move!" He ordered the alpha roughly as he stood next to his fellow medicine wolf. Tekka glared at him indignantly, but let her paws slip from under her so she could lay back down. He looked to Scarlett, "Is it bad? Please tell me that she will be okay..." His voice was shaking from fear and anger.
Moki's nose twitched; he caught the scent of Ranger. It seemed as though he were going away from camp. His eyes grew wider still, if that was at all possible. "..Scarlett..I believe Ranger is going to hurt the humans."
"You mustn't let him..." Tekka wheezed, the breath still away from her. "He must not fight them. He may not make it out alive..."

Koven roared over Moki, his emotions running riot again. "The last thing Tekka needs is more stress" He snapped indelictly. He paused brething in his anger again. "That is why i'm going to find him before that happens!" He told everybody.

Scarlett looked up from her work, "Stop This NOW!" She snarled glaring at the bickering wolves. "Koven, As my duty I must ask you to go and find Ranger. And moki, You need to calm down, We need to get some alabaster leaves, they only grow in the mountians where the Netico Pack resides." She took one last glare at Koven and moki and then went back to work on trying to dislodge the rope from tekka's ankle.
Ranger's body trembled with fury, arenaline ran through his veins as he left through the trees and into the humans camp. He let out a hair raising snarl and terrified humans emerged from the tents. One of the humans grabbed a gun and was about to shoot him when a little child ran out infront of him and placed herself infront of Ranger. He was shocked, this child had run in front of him and saved his life. He cocked his head to the side and watched the little girl argue with her father, he felt someone approach from behind him and he turned and let out a snarl. They reached out a hand towards him and he simply raised his lip and flattened his ears against his head. He felt something brush his flank and he turned his head to see the little girl tracing his scar.
He felt a pang of loyalty towards the little girl, the man with the gun had a very worried expression on his face, he must be her father, he thought. And for the first time in his life, Ranger didn't kill a human when he was so close to them. He put his nose forwards and pushed the child gently in the direction of her father. She smiled and walked off towards him, all the humans had slightly stunned expressions on their faces. Ranger smirked, Morons, one of the humans took a step forwards and he whirled round and snarled at him. He backed off quickly and left a space for him to leave through, Ranger was confused, these humans were strange. He took one more glance at them and then ran through the gap and into the forest.
There was a cry behind him and the little girl came hurtling through the woods behind him. Ranger frowned and looked back in time to see the girl hurtle into him, they were knocked over and flung through the trees. They came to a halt and Ranger stood and carefully walked over to the girl, He nuzzled her and she got up and stood next to him holding on to his fur. She whimpered and they started to walk side-by-side together through the woods, Ranger didn't know what had hit him, he felt for the little girl but he had been hurt by humans and he didn't know why he was helping her. They heard trampling through the woods and both swung round to see what it was, a bear came through the tree's towards them. a growl echoed through the woods as Ranger became angry and over-protective so he pushed the girl back and flew at the bear.
Tearing at the bear he heard gasps come from the trees near him the bear caught him with a paw and easily swiped him off. It was about to finish him off when, BANG, the bear fell over like a tree and Ranger looked up to see the male human with a gun that was smoking slightly and the little girl hugging his leg. The male human put the gun down and went to approach Ranger but with a growl he backed off again, the little girl walked up to him and petted him. he grunted and stood up, shaking himself he began to walked back to camp when the little girl called out. He turned and looked at her and the male human approached him with the gun, Ranger snarled and hopped side-ways and hid in the bushes. There was a loud snap as the male human set off a trap with his gun and then a slight scraping sound as he picked it up and pulled the chain from the ground. Ranger frowned and watched the humans as they walked away from him, They had helped him, but Why? The question revolved around Ranger's brain and made him confused as he tried to figure out why the humans had helped him. He turned still with a frown upon his face and started to walked back to camp and where he asumed Tekka lay.

Moki cowered back in fear of Koven's anger, but knew that it was justified. He should not have mentioned it in front of Tekka, but in his worry and jumbled thoughts it came out without second thought. He shook his head and muttered an apology to Koven, bowing his head reverently.
He then looked to Tekka, "Everything will be fine. We need to get you back to camp and find a comfortable place for you to lay." He then caught eyes with Scarlett. "But what do you suggest about Alabaster?" He then whispered, "It may worry her to have us leave.."
Without consent from either medicine wolf, Tekka forced herself on her paws and began to shuffle back towards camp. "Please, do not act as though I am dead! I will go and find a place to rest while you two do what you need to do." As she walked painfully, she looked back for any sign of Koven. She heard his voice faintly in her subconscious, but now was nowhere to be seen. Tekka had a feeling of what was going on, but decided to focus on getting rid of her pain.

Dylan looked as Ranger walked back. Stunned. He went up to him and said,"Wow. I can't belive what just happened!" Dylan then looked to Scarlett. He went over to her and said," I can get that plant for you. I have voyaged through the mountians. I have seen where the Netico pack lingers, and can sneek past them. Plus, they don't know who I am! Just tell me how much you need, and I will be on my way."
Laydia went over to where Ranger was. She watched the whole thing. She said to him," So I guess you have found your weak side. For children?" She then nuzzled him and said,"You a great wolf Ranger."
Anyo went over to Tekka and said,"Mommy, I am sorry." He held his head low. He then came to the courage to say," Do I need to leave like that one wolf left us?"
