Kyta padded into the territory with a bright smile on her face. She was silently walking next to Orion, and turned around to give a bright smile towards Lakin and Kippo,"I like it here, what do you all say?" She turned her head to a patch of sun that was glinting through the trees,"beautiful..." she muttered quietly while leaning down to drink from the crystal river that flowed silently through the rocks.

Kippo trotted forward eagerly, trailing behind the rest of the newly formed pack. His eyes roamed across his surroundings, spotting every single fascinating detail; his nose positively vacuumed in the myriad of scents; his puppy-like ears pricked at even the slightest sound; his paws tingled with delight as they tread upon the unfamiliar earth. The wolf became so engrossed in paying attention to everything around him, that he completely forgot to pay attention to where he was going. Glancing up as a perky sparrow flickered overhead, Kippo promptly tripped over a rock, vaulting himself headfirst into the still water. He exploded out of it like a shot, yelping in surprise. It was pretty, and no doubt tasted good judging by the clarity, but hells teeth, it was freezing! Out of courtesy (which was out of self-preservation in the face of his superiors) he moved a few paces away, before shaking himself vigorously. The result was an even more comical-looking Kippo than usual; his fur stuck out in wet spikes all across his body, and he kept alternating between licking his nose and sneezing, trying to dislodge the stubborn droplets of water that had intruded into his sensitive muzzle. Producing one last, decisive sneeze, the wolf sat down on his haunches, grinning despite his bedraggled appearance. He liked it here; the sun was already drying his coat, and- goodness gracious, "BUTTERFLIES!" Kippo snapped at a brightly colored insect, rolling over in the lush grass as it fluttered unconcernedly past him.

Orion surveyed his surroundings with an intense, scrutinizing gaze; was it safe to live here? Was there an abundance of small prey to keep them satisfied? They were close to water, and the hunting grounds were not too far away.
SPLASH.
The male placed all attention on the river, only to see a sopping wet Kippo emerge from the chilling water. He shook, spraying water in every direction. He fought back a laugh as his fur poked out like a porcupine. The young wolf took off after a butterfly, completely unaware that Orion was watching him intently. "You have good posture, Kippo," Orion said to the amused wolf frolicking after the bright butterfly. "I believe you have the makings of a hunter."
With a nod he walked away and passed Kyta at a brisk pace, his paws bringing him to a tiny clearing that was greener than any place he had ever seen. Vines dangled from the trees in a drooping arch fashion, their leaves glistening with dew in the sunlight. How peaceful it was! Orion felt his muscles relax as he dropped onto the grass and inhaled the sweet scents around him.

Lakin walked until she saw the bank of the river. She ran at full speed towards true river and spalshed in. She was reminded so much of her years of a pup. She had always dreamt herself as alpha and a mate along herside.
After swmming for quite a while, Lakin walked up off the bank, then layed down and layed her head down on her paws. Indeed it was beautiful here, this was where Lakin grew up and it brought quite painstaking memories back. Lakin dozed off while she thought about the stuff that had takeen place in the peaceful places Lakin always had referred to as butterfly meadows.

Kyta let out a slight laugh as Kippo chased the butterfly, he really was sweet and silly. Kyta walked a little further until she stood by Orion, "It's nice, isn't it?" She hoped Orion agreed on the spot, but if not, she'd be glad to keep looking for a new place. This was now her family, and she'd go everywhere with them. She took a whiff of the air and smiled, "Doesn't reek of anything..." she said to herself quietly as she turned to make sure Kippo and Lakin were still close by.

Kippo bounced to his paws, lifting his tail proudly at Orion's praise. "Thank you sir," he said, pleased, "I'm not a spectacular hunter, but I hope I'll get really good some day." Kippo continued to watch Orion out of the corner of his eye, as the alpha male padded off. No doubt he was a great hunter. He was big and strong, and probably fast too; and so far, he was also really friendly. Everyone in this newly formed pack seemed to be highly commendable types, and they were all so nice to him. So far he hadn't been snapped at once. Oh, sure, it would probably happen eventually- he did have a tendency to get in the way and annoy everyone around him- but they were patient. Glancing at Lakin, it was clear she enjoyed this place, and perhaps knew it from previously. Kyta seemed very pleased with the territory too.
Trotting bouncily towards the alpha pair, Kippo looked up at their faces. "Are we going to stay here? And live here?" he said entreatingly, with a disarming grin. Oh, what if they all lived here together, like a happy family! It was so pretty... and so many butterflies!
